Constant tension winches are an alternative to the traditional sheaved cylinder take-up designs. Greater line pull, constant and faster response and longer take-up travel are the advantages of the winch design. Any conveyor system is only as productive as its take-up. Continental hydraulic take-up sections are designed to pull the slack out of the belt for a smooth conveyor start, regardless of the loading condition.
